He was born in 1974 in Ashohat village of Satgram Union, Araihazar Upazila, Narayanganj district.

His father was a government employee in the Audit Department. His mother, Amina Begum, is a homemaker. He is the second child among one brother and one sister.

He completed his primary education at Purinda Government Primary School, Araihazar, Narayanganj. He studied up to the eighth grade at Purinda Sadekur Rahman High School and passed SSC in 1989 from Madhabdi SP Institute.

He received scholarships in primary, junior, and SSC levels.

He completed HSC from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, and obtained MBBS from Khulna Medical College in 1999.

After passing MBBS, he worked for one and a half years in Libya, providing medical treatment to citizens from 25 different countries and gained great reputation.

To join the BCS Health Cadre, he returned to Bangladesh from Libya and joined the 22nd BCS in 2004. Throughout his career, he served with distinction in Madaripur, Narsingdi, Kishoreganj, Bhola, Dhaka, and Comilla.

His wife, Dr. Tajrian Akter Shilpi (MBBS, FCPS), is a renowned gynecologist and obstetrician in Narsingdi.

While working as a GP, seeing the difficulties and complications in diagnosing patients, he developed a strong desire to specialize in diagnosis and prayed to Almighty Allah for success.

To this end, he completed his postgraduate MPhil degree in Radiology and Imaging from Dhaka Medical College. He also received one year of training in Medicine from the same institution.

Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging at Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.

He is the first in Narsingdi to perform duplex ultrasonography and ultrasonography of various parts of the body.

Accurate diagnosis of patients is his mission. For this, he seeks the satisfaction of Almighty Allah and the cooperation and patience of all.
